WATERLOO--WALK IN THE PARK!

It is such a beautiful day!
Sun is shining and most of the snow is gone.
Tree reaching to blue sky!
Waterloo Park was beckoning to visitors.
There are some animals and birds in the park along with towering beautiful, elderly trees.
Chipmunks and squirrels mingle with the with the visitors.
Smooth pathways to follow for all ages  ensure that the park is a pleasant riverside location.

This is, also, a holiday in our province today. The weather was an added bonus to enjoy celebrating Family this weekend. Sadly, it was a time of loss for some families as well but I hope they are left
with good memories of these special people on this weekend.

This visit to the park always leads to writing a poem or two--time for tea!

Enjoy this unusually mild winter.

As an aside, here is another photo--the Valentine tulips are fading but are beautiful in their own way.

Oh, such blue sky... I love it. I'm glad you were able to get outside to enjoy the pretty weather. I can't wait for spring.

What beautiful colors here today, the brilliant blue of that sky, and the fading pastels of the tulips. It's as though winter is fading and spring is making itself known. Hope you had a nice holiday today :)
