No barbecue this weekend!!!
Whatever the groundhogs predicted, winter is still making an impact.

Enjoyed reading your post. Yes, the snows have come. Our daughter in Mass is without electric. AT least they have a fireplace but it's so cold.
Hope you are snug and warm. I skipped down and read the article on Anne of Green Gables. I have a friend who traveled this past summer to where the story was set. She loved those stories.
Best to you and yours. Barbara
Barbara, thanks for dropping by!!
Glad you read the Anne post too.
Hope the electricity is back on in MA. What a storm!
Beautiful snow. I'm down in sunny, warm Florida and folks think I'm crazy for missing snow - but it's truly a beautiful part of nature, and yes, it forces us to slow down and take a break! Enjoy yours.
Hello Melissa Ann!
I agree about the beauty of snow but I do find that winter overstays its welcome sometimes.
Best to you in Florida!
To me there is nothing quite like the snow. Snow day to a school child means so much. A day off, to play, to come inside, drop wet clothing and have hot cocoa. To snuggle, to read, to find comfort in warmth and the thrill of a hill to slide down.

So true, Patricia! That hot cocoa is the perfect finish!
