CACTUS BLOOM OF HOPE!

On one of the coldest days of the year, my cactus plant has decided to bloom again.
2014 March bloom!
Not being one of those people with particular luck in the houseplant field, I am thrilled to see this little pink bloom.

It seems especially nice to see a bright spot in a day of political conflict and apprehension in the world.

I am sharing this flower as a sign of hope for peaceful resolution of the tension along the Russian border with the Ukraine

On a more upbeat note, one of my poems, Winter Blueprint,  and a related photo are now posted at Rhymes and Times Remembered.

For the last while, have been working on reorganizing my writing space. Quite a project!

Hope all is well with everyone.

Have a great week! :)

Beautiful Bloom! I too have never had much luck with houseplants. Perhaps I should try again.

MamaPurl, thanks so much! Houseplants add a cheerful note to the day -- when they survive! :)
